JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has held discussions with his Ukrainian counterpart.
Volodymyr Zelensky tweeted about the phone call with the South African leader.
Had a phone conversation with @CyrilRamaphosa. Told about our resistance to Russian aggression. Discussed the threat of a global food crisis, deepening relations with the Republic of South Africa and cooperation within international organizations.

The two discussed a wide range of issues.
Zelensky says he told Ramaphosa about its resistance to Russian aggression.
They also discussed the looming global food crisis.

The leaders also agreed to strengthen relations and cooperate within international organisations.
Ramaphosa previously spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He has offered to mediate talks between Ukraine and Russia.
