JOHANNESBURG - Former president Thabo Mbeki says he hopes law enforcement agencies will move speedily on the alleged Phala Phala farm robbery.

He says this will answer many questions people have.

The farm of President Cyril Ramaphosa is believed to have been robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.

Mbeki also described findings from the state capture commission as a great tragedy.

A number of high-profile politicians and business people are implicated in the report.

Mbeki says the country needs to find ways to ensure this doesn't happen again.
