Ramaphosa farm theft | President given more time to respond

JOHANNESBURG - Acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka has given President Cyril Ramaphosa a 25-day breather to respond to allegations in the Phala Phala farm saga.

Had it been denied, the Public Protector would have had to complete her task within the first ten days of July.

Spokesperson Oupa Segalwe says requests like the president's are common.

Opposition parties in Parliament say they will keep up the pressure for Ramaphosa to face the music.
