JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says Eskom will not be allowed to fail.
He says there are plans to restructure the power utility and partner with the private sector.
Eskom is more than R400-billion in debt.
He was speaking at an investor conference on Wednesday.
During the conference, Ramaphosa would not be drawn into discussions about those selected to be part of South Africa's sixth parliament.
But, says he's confident that those on the list are people who'll contribute to growing the economy.
