Ramaphosa inspects Eastern Cape bridge construction

President Cyril Ramaphosa at the N2 Wild Coast and Msikaba Bridge oversight visit in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape.


JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is assessing the construction of the Msikaba Bridge at Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape.

Ramaphosa is accompanied by several ministers.

They include Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula; Public Works and Infrastructure Minister, Patricia De Lille, Small Business Development Minister, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams and Water and Sanitation Minister, Senzo Mchunu.

Eastern Cape Premier, Oscar Mabuyane is also present.

In the pipeline for this investment are 88 projects valued at more than R2.3-trillion.  

The Msikaba Bridge is part of the N2 Wild Coast Road project, which is aimed at stimulating investment and economic growth in the region.
