Ramphosa wants SAA's India route back

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa wants South African Airways to re-establish its direct flights to India. 

The route was cancelled in April 2015 amid allegations that the Guptas strong-armed the airline and government to abandon it.

It is alleged the Guptas wanted India's Jet airlines to fly the route. 

Ramaphosa is in India to strengthen co-operation between the two countries in a number of areas.
