JOHANNESBURG - Drunk drivers will spend at least a week behind bars before being eligible for bail if traffic officials have their way.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation wants drunk driving reclassified so that suspects are treated the same way as those accused of rape, murder, theft, and fraud.
