SA back on UK travel red list

JOHANNESBURG - The United Kingdom has temporarily banned flights from South Africa and five of its neighbours.

The UK says it's concerned over the discovery of a new COVID-19 variant.

Travel restrictions will be imposed from Friday.

Travelllers from South Africa will need to quarantine upon arrival in the UK.
