JOHANNESBURG - The total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in South Africa stands at 37,525 with 792 deaths.

The health department announced that a total of 761,534 tests have been conducted to date.

Level 3 lockdown: Western Cape changes testing policy

Recoveries stand at 19,682.

The Western Cape still has the highest number of positive cases with 24,657 cases followed by Gauteng with 4,567 cases and the Eastern Cape with 4,526 cases.
