JOHANNESBURG - Doctors are pleading for more protection after a spate of attacks on medical facilities across the country.

A female doctor was assaulted allegedly by a patient at the Lillian Ngoyi Community Clinic in Soweto.

This is just days after two doctors were stabbed by a patient in Kimberley.

Doctors say they no longer feel safe in the workplace.
