JOHANNESBURG - There are growing calls to lift the Covid-19 curfew.
The hospitality industry has started a petition for government to end it before New Year's Eve.
It says it undermines efforts to revive the already ailing economy.
The country is currently on lockdown level one, with the curfew in place from midnight to 4am.
The DA is also adding its voice.
Leader John Steenhuisen says hospitalisation rates have dropped and this should be considered.
