JOHANNESBURG - Western Cape authorities say some residents simply are not obeying COVID-19 regulations.
They say members of the public are not wearing their masks, practising social distancing and sanitising.
Police and other law enforcement officials have been out this weekend at some of the busiest areas in Cape Town, to enforce compliance.
Some residents were issued fines for breaking Covid-19 regulations.
Business owners were also penalised for not closing in time for the curfew.
