SA records 5,361 new COVID-19 infections, 54 more deaths

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 5,361 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours.

A further 54 people have died due to the virus, bringing total fatalities to 56,765.

The country currently has a 93.3 percent recovery rate.

More than 43,000 tests have been conducted since the last report.
