JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says the country is rebuilding and renewing itself.
He was addressing delegates at a summit aimed at attracting a $100-billion worth of investment in South Africa.
Ramaphosa's also touched on the thorny topic of corruption.
This as the country is grappling with the effects of state capture.
Ramaphosa has assured investors that the country is working to stamp out corruption.
“As a country, we have also had to confront the bitter reality that several public entities have been severely affected by corruption and the phenomenon of state capture...We have resolved to end such corruption and hold those responsible to account for their actions...We are in repair mode, we are rebuilding, we are reposition...not only our country as a whole but also our State Owned Enterprises.”
