JOHANNESBURG - South African Airways (SAA) cabin crew and Numsa employees have downed tools on Tuesday over the sudden exit of CEO Vuyani Jarana.
Last week, Jarana rendered his resignation citing uncertainty over SAA's lack of progress and turnaround strategy.
Over a hundred members gathered outside SAA's headquarters on Tuesday. They are expected to hand over a memorandum.
It is understood that they are demanding the disbandment of the SAA board amid allegations of division in the embattled national carrier.
They've also called for the reappointment of Jarana as CEO.
