SAA finds its wings | Passengers excited to fly again

South African Airways will resume flights on Thursday, after being grounded for over a year due to business rescue.

JOHANNESBURG - It was an emotional moment for South African Airways employees as the first flight in 18 months took off.

Pilots expressed gratitude for being able to return to work, after what they call a difficult time.

The maiden flight of SAA 2.0 took off to Cape Town just after 8am on Thursday.

Passengers are happy that SAA is back in business.

eNCA spoke to a few, just before the airline's maiden flight.
