JOHANNESBURG - The South African Human Rights Commission is instituting legal proceedings against Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth in the Equality Court on Friday.
This relates to a complaint received by the Commission in August, in which Etzebeth is accused of physical assault and racial abuse, during an altercation in Langebaan.
He has denied the allegations.
The French-based lock is currently on duty at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan with the Springboks.
