JOHANNESBURG - The South African National Defence Force and South African Airways put on a spectacular display at President Cyril Ramaphosa's inauguration.
At a ceremony fit for royalty Ramaphosa asserted himself as the commander in chief.
After being sworn in, he and the crowd at Loftus Stadium watched a military parade.
Meanwhile, a parachutist crash-landed during the inauguration.
A number of parachutists landed on the rugby field but one crashed into a pole.
The person remained on the field for some time afterward and it's still unclear what his or her condition is.
