JOHANNESBURG - A member of the South African National Defence Force deployed in Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado Province has been killed.
Soldiers have been deployed in the volatile region as part of the SADC mission in the country, dubbed Operation Vikela.
The soldiers came under attack from insurgents during an ambush in the area east of Chai village on Monday.
Brigadier General Andries Mokoena Mahapa describes the incident in the video above.
