SARS is aware of a glitch of its online system.
JOHANNESBURG - The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has pushed out the filing deadline for provisional taxpayers.
It is now extended to 15 February.
The decision was based on the unprecedented health challenge of COVID-19 endured by taxpayers.
They are encouraged to use eFiling or the SARS MobiApp.
The extension also follows a software problem that have prevented some taxpayers from submitting returns through e-Filing.
Adobe had warned that it’s Flash software would be outdated by the end of 2020.
