JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC, Panyaza Lesufi, says harsh action will be taken against those involved in bullying and violence at school.
He's calling on school governing bodies to act more decisively.
Lesufi adds that school management should work with parents to end bullying and violence.
Meanwhile, a Limpopo teenager will return to court on 20 April for a formal bail application after a brief appearance in court on Friday.
She is accused of assaulting a fellow pupil, Lufuno Mavhunga.
The incident was caught on camera.
Mavhunga has since died by suicide.
A memorial service was held on Friday.
