JOHANNESBURG - Alleged racism at a Schweizer-Reneke primary school is dividing the town's black and white communities.

A North West education department investigation into why black and white Grade R pupils were separated may expose institutionalised racism.

The teacher who separated the pupils has since been suspended, but some of the town's people are not convinced she did anything wrong.
