Smart school in Tsakane robbed

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has called for community assistance to hunt down robbers of a state-of-the-art Tsakane school.

The school near Brakpan was robbed of almost 200 tablets and other electronic equipment were taken from the newly handed over school.

The school cost R105m to build.

The department's spokesperson Steve Mabona said the manner in which the robbery was carried out hints the perpetrators had inside information.
