JOHANNESBURG – Eskom has announced that Stage 2 load-shedding will continue until the end of the weekend.

“Eskom will continue to implement Stage 2 load shedding until Sunday, 17 March 2019, as a result of a shortage of generation capacity due to plant breakdowns and the need to manage our diesel and water resources,” Eskom said.

“The management of the diesel and water resources is essential to ensure that the impact of the potential stage of load-shedding in the week ahead can be reduced.”
