DURBAN - There were heated arguments in a pretrial case involving ANC member of the KwaZulu Natal Legislature, former eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede and her co-accused on Thursday.
The state has asked for an adjournment of four months, saying it needs more time to peruse the forensic report implicating the accused.
The defence is, however, against a further postponement.
Gumede and her co-accused are facing charges relating to the R450-million Durban Solid Waste tender corruption.
