JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has placed Communications Minister, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, on two months special leave.
One month will be unpaid.
It comes after a picture on social media showed the Minister having lunch at former deputy Minister, Mduduzi Manana's home.
This was a violation of lockdown regulations.
Ramaphosa summoned the Minister to explain her actions.

The President accepted the Minister’s apology for the violation but was unmoved by her explanation.
Minister in the Presidency, Jackson Mthembu, will act in Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams’ position.
