Tavern tragedy | Mass funeral to be held for deceased teens

EAST LONDON - The 21 teenagers who died from chemical poisoning at an East London tavern over the weekend will be laid to rest next Wednesday in a mass funeral.

Earlier on Wednesday, a crowd gathered outside Enyobeni tavern, demanding justice for the teenagers who died.

Authorities are yet to identify the specific chemical.

Meanwhile, Cosatu's leadership in the Eastern Cape said the business owners of Enyobeni Tavern must be arrested and imprisoned.

They have lambasted the business for its alleged negligence.
