Rumours of suicide are malicious: Anele Tembe's father

DURBAN - The father of the late Anele Tembe denies claims that his daughter could have committed suicide.

The body of the 22-year-old, who recently got engaged to popular rapper AKA, was found on the pavement outside a tall building in Cape Town last weekend.

She was laid to rest in Durban on Friday.

Police have not confirmed the circumstances surrounding her death.

Sandile Zungu read a message on behalf of Tembe's father, in which he speaks openly about her mental health.
