JOHANNESBURG - Transnet has issued suspension letters to eight senior executives.
It says past internal audit and forensic reports have not been implemented by management.
Transnet says a number of reports have been piling up over the years, with no follow-up.
The parastatal has now sourced an external support service to conclude and finalise recommendations made in the reports.
The senior executives have been given 48 hours to give reasons why they shouldn't be suspended.
