JOHANNESBURG - Tshwane residents are being urged to use water sparingly.

Reservoir levels in the metro have dropped severely over the past few days, with some now critically low.

Supply from Rand Water is restricted due to the shutdown of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project Tunnel.

And it will remain shut until the end of November, for maintenance.
