File: Police said on Sunday they had found 167 rhino horns believed to be destined for Asia and nabbed two suspects in a sting operation.
BRITS - Two suspects who were arrested in connection with one of the biggest hauls of rhino horn in the country, will appear in the Brits town magistrate's court on Monday.
They were arrested in a sting operation in the North West province at the weekend.
The suspects were found in possession of 167 rhino horns.
It is believed that the horns were destined for Asia.
Police say they are worth a "substantial amount of money".
Demand for rhino horn is primarily fuelled by consumers in China and Vietnam where it is used in traditional medicine.
