CAPE TOWN - Those who kill police officers in South Africa should get the harshest punishment, that's according to Police Minister Bheki Cele.
Cele was speaking at the memorial service of two police officers killed last weekend in Kraaifontein in the Western Cape.
Dozens of police officers and family members of the slain officers gathered for a wreath-laying ceremony and memorial service.
Families say they want justice for the deceased Sergeant Mnakwazo Mdoko and Constable Mninawa Breakfast.
One person has since been arrested.
