UK to reduce countries on its "red list"

LONDON - It is understood the UK will remove South Africa from its contentious Red List.

Fully vaccinated travellers will not need to go into quarantine for ten days upon arriving in the UK.

South African scientists have met their UK counterparts to discuss the issue.

There have also been discussions between President Cyril Ramaphosa and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Brazil, Indonesia, and Mexico are also expected to be removed.
