Unions, Clover management meet as strike enters 10th week

JOHANNESBURG - Clover will meet with representative unions on Friday.

Workers have been striking since November over job and wage cuts.

On Thursday they staged a protest outside the Israeli trade office in Sandton.

They're demanding the reversal of the merger between Clover and Israeli company Milco.

General Industries Workers Union of SA President Mametlwe Sebei believes the meeting will be meaningful.

"All of those issues are on the table, they are going to be debated."
