JOHANNESBURG - There are around 48 matters relating to the Marikana Massacre that still need to be resolved in court, that’s according to Solicitor General Fhedzisani Pandelani.

Pandelani says that even though government has been embroiled in settlement battles, it has paid about R75 million to the families of the deceased.

It’s been 10 years since the miners' wage strike led to the death of about 34 miners.

Pandelani was giving an update on the progress made with the remaining cases.
