JOHANNESBURG - The National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union’s has shut down Sassa offices on Wednesday.
Workers are picketing outside social security agency branches across the country.
Nehawu says its members are being forced into positions that require skills they haven't been trained in.
The union wants Sassa to get rid of the fingerprint system used to register beneficiaries, which it says is flawed.
