JOHANNESBURG - Cabinet has approved the vaccination of people between the ages of 18 and 35 against COVID-19 from 20 August.
Data reveals that an average of 100,000 fewer people per day have been vaccinated in the last month in South Africa.
Vaccine hesitancy and the spread of misinformation have been contributing factors to the low figures in recent weeks.
Authorities say religious and community leaders play a crucial role in leading people to vaccine sites.
