JOHANNESBURG - Voters could punish the DA at the polls over its infighting with Patricia de Lille though the impact will be small, according to the party's former leader Tony Leon.
Leon warned the party against co-operating with the EFF again after the election.

He said the DA's public spat with De Lille was disruptive, and the impact will be reflected by how many people vote for her Good party.
Leon also had some advice for the party: If it finds itself in a position where accepting EFF support, would put it in government.
"I would only do it if my terms were met. If they couldn't meet my terms, if I was supposed to go cap in hand to a party which is completely diametrically opposite to me, I wouldn't do it."
Leon said he'll be meeting with the party's long-time voters to consolidate its support.
