JOHANNESBURG – Former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi has admitted to being a racist.
He made the admission during his testimony at the state capture inquiry on Tuesday.
Agrizzi's character is being questioned at the Zondo Commission.
In an audio clip that was played at the inquiry, Agrizzi is heard referring to Joe Gumede and Papa Leshabane with the k-word.
Commission chairperson Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo said what Agrizzi said was ”extremely offensive” but that doesn't mean he won't assess the evidence given.
