JOHANNESBURG - A Taxify passenger says his life has been completely destroyed after a driver allegedly stole from him.

Online content producer Thabo Bluebird used the Taxify app to get home safely last month.

Little did he know the trip would change his life.

Bluebird forgot his R30,000 phone inside the car.

The 30-year-old says his phone was his bread and butter.

“I have lost out on so many campaigns I don’t know how I am going to pay my rent.”

Attempts to reach Taxify were unsuccessful.
