DURBAN - A businessman has detailed how he endured almost two weeks of torture, allegedly at the hands of a group linked to the Durban bombings.

19 people are accused of extorting money by planting incendiary devices in retail stores earlier this year, and killing a man at a mosque.

Durban was held to ransom for months as criminals planted incendiary devices across the city.

When the Hawks eventually cracked the case in October, they established it was all about money.

eNCA reporter Dasen Thathiah spoke exclusively to the victim, whose case may be linked to the group after an identity parade.
