JOHANNESBURG - eNCA is focusing on various crimes and their effect on South African communities.
Alexandra is one of the areas in Gauteng with a high crime rate.
In March, some residents in Alexandra planned a total shutdown in protest over rising crime levels.

Meanwhile, one Cape Town community is calling for action against a Nigerian national, who allegedly committed sexual acts with under-aged girls.
Images of this were shared widely on social media, causing widespread outrage.
A protest regarding the matter is also planned outside the Parklands police station.
