The School Governing Body says they first reported the damage to the Gauteng Department of Education in 2016.

Engineers were at the school on Friday assessing the situation.

There are also signs of infrastructure damage to other parts of the school building.

The school has received mobile toilets from the education department, but it's still waiting for mobile classrooms.
