CAPE TOWN - EFF MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi made a bold suggestion in Parliament on Tuesday during the president's question and answer session.
The opposition leader proposed distributing cellphones without cameras that cannot be hacked, in a veiled reference to the recent scandal involving Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba.
Ndlozi said Ramaphosa may start ordering these kinds of phones for Cabinet members to save them from embarrassing activities.
Gigaba raised his pinkie and rotated it in the air, a gesture other Parliamentarians found unsavoury.
Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba responds in Parliament to EFF MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s suggestion that some Ministers should rather have old Nokia phones with no cameras.
