JOHANNESBURG - Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan is set to testify at the state capture inquiry on Monday.

Much of his testimony is already known as his 69-page affidavit was leaked two weeks ago.

That leak is now under investigation.

Chairperson of the inquiry, Justice Raymond Zondo, is urging those with evidence about the leak to come forward.

Gordhan is set to reveal a proposed deal between the state-owned arms manufacturer and Gupta-linked company VR Laser.

Denel’s board chair at the time was Lungisani Daniel Mantsha.

To muddy the waters further, Mantsha is former president Jacob Zuma's lawyer and has made representations on Zuma’s behalf at the commission.

Gordhan accused Mantsha of personally attacking him for insisting that the Denel-VR Laser deal undergo proper checks.

The minister is also due to be questioned on any and all meetings with members of the Gupta family.
