JOHANNESBURG - The Mogalakwena mayor says there's nothing untoward about R1.4 million being approved to buy vehicles for him and council's speaker.

The Democratic Alliance caucus in the Limpopo municipality has lambasted the decision and called for the money to be used to deliver services.

The DA says the municipality is cash-strapped and can barely provide basic services to residents.
