PORT ELIZABETH - PORT ELIZABETH – The rape and human trafficking trial of Pastor Timothy Omotoso has been postponed to Thursday.

Over the past two weeks, the Eastern Cape High Court sitting in Port Elizabeth heard harrowing testimony from one of his alleged victims, Cheryl Zondi.

On Monday, Omotoso's legal team suffered a major blow in court, when Judge Mandela Makaula refused to recuse himself.

The team had applied to have Judge Mandela Makaula removed from the case.

Advocate Peter Daubermann says the judge's remarks show that he is biased on the matter.
