JOHANNESBURG – It marks a year since Cyril Ramaphosa was elected ANC President.
While former President Jacob Zuma pulled a poker face – for others, the pain was unbearable
The race was tight but the sun was forced to set on Nkandla to make way for the new dawn.
It has not been smooth sailing: from ailing SOEs and a struggling economy to divisions within the governing party.
With a tumultuous year behind him, it's still to be seen whether Ramaphosa's new dawn will turn into a new day.
