JOHANNESBURG - Professor David Everatt from the Wits School of Governance says poor infrastructure maintenance is partly to blame for Khayalethu Magadla going missing.

He says the government needs to go out and fix open manholes to prevent children from dying.

Magadla (6) fell into a manhole in Dlamini in Soweto over a week ago.

Specialised equipment and experts have been roped in to assist in finding him.
