WATCH | Power cuts putting strain on hospitals

JOHANNESBURG - Lives have been lost in Gauteng hospitals as a result of power cuts.

That is according to the head of internal medicine at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, Adam Mohamed.

He says while most hospitals have generators and other backup systems, the cost and frequency of power cuts are putting a strain on facilities.
